Charity, Unity, Fraternity, Patriotism are the watchwords of the Knights of Columbus. Founded in 1882, the KOC is the largest body of Catholic laymen in the world. As the area served by Our Lady of Fatima, Holy Rosary, St. Mary’s, and Holy Family parishes grew in strength and numbers, the need for a local KOC Council became evident. On January 3, 1984, with 62 members names written on the Charter, Msqr. M. M Coady Council 9476 was firmly established.
Locally, Council 9476 supports scholarships and bursaries and other youth related activities. Council continues its support, through donations, for Mass for Shut-Ins, KOC Chorale and a variety of fraternal activities. KOC members are stronly identified with a host of church related activities. The KOC is a democratic organization that operates under the leadership of a Grand Knight. New members are always welcome.
We would like to thank all those who have contributed to our Flea Market by giving material or by coming to the Flea Market to buy material.
